The Best Breakfast at Epcot – 10 Places You Need to Try
So, these are my top ten best breakfast locations at Epcot. You will find a variety of interesting options to choose from but I think any of these should meet your breakfast needs.
1. Garden Grill
Great for: The Disney Character Experience
I have had so many great breakfasts at Garden Grill over the years. The food served family style is great. The tear and share sticky bun bake (which is delicious) with coffee and juice. This is followed by a big tray filled with bacon, sausages, eggs, Mickey Waffles and potato barrels.
Located in The Land at Epcot this restaurant very slowly rotates so that you will get to see various parts of the Living with the Land ride which is located below.
As you make your way through the food more can be brought out for you if you want it. On top of the fantastic food at Garden Grill you also have the characters that come to meet you: Mickey, Pluto and Chip n Dale. I have always found Chip n Dale to be a lot of fun at this location and can really make your younger children laugh as they interact with them and make out they are hungry for the kiddo’s food.
The restaurant is also in a great location to get on Soarin’ Around the World if you can get a reservation for before the park officially opens. We have done this and walked straight on the ride at 9am, beating the crowds.
Note: Garden Grill is currently temporarily closed for breakfast but is expected to return in 2022.
2. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Great for: The Disney Princess Experience
If you have some time to spare for breakfast at Epcot and you want to meet some Disney Princesses, then this is the restaurant for you. The food is pretty good but this location is really about the character experience and meeting the Disney Princesses.
You can meet Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora and Mary Poppins. Do note though they do rotate which princesses appear. Great for any Disney Princess fans in your family especially if you can’t get a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom.
Note: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is currently temporarily closed for breakfast but is expected to return in 2022.
3. Trattoria Al Forno
Great for: The wonderful breakfast menu close to the park
Trattoria Al Forno is located at Disney’s Boardwalk which is only a short walk from Epcot and it has a fantastic breakfast menu. The steak and eggs here is fantastic and the Peach Bellini on offer too is quite the luxurious breakfast beverage but definitely worth treating yourself to when on vacation.
Trattoria Al Forno is an ideal location for breakfast when visiting Epcot as it is only a short walk and it can be great location to dine at before the park opens. This location is all about the fantastic breakfast menu on offer.
Previously you would find the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast here where you could dine and meet Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and prince Eric. It is expected to return in 2022 and you can read our full review here.
4. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Great for: Tasty French pastries
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie offers a really nice selection of pastries that can be ideal for a breakfast at Epcot whether you want sit down inside on get moving on to your next location with your food and drink in hand.
You will find a host of French pastries along with baguettes sandwiches, soups and salads.
5. La Creperie de Paris
Great for: The tasty crepes of course
This new restaurant located in the new Ratatouille ride area of the France Pavilion at Epcot offers a nice selection of crepes (as you would expect from its title). There is a good selection of both sweet and savory crepes to choose from.
A good spot if you are planning to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first thing in the morning. Enjoy the ride and head inside for a delicious crepe. There are also tea’s and coffees available here to enjoy with your breakfast.
6. Sunshine Seasons
Great for: A quick stop breakfast before or after Soarin’
This food court located inside the Land building at Epcot offers a variety of different quick service style food and snack options. The main advantage of having breakfast here at Epcot is that is located close to Soarin’, Living with Land and the SeaBase building.
Sunshine seasons offers an easy and quick breakfast option is you need to stop. This can especially be the case if you have younger children who could do with some fuel for the rest of the morning inside the park.
7. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
Great for: A baked treat and drink before or after Frozen Ever After
Kringla Bakeri og Kafe is located right next to the Frozen Ever After ride. Here you will find the popular snack School Bread which is a Sweet Roll filled with Custard and dipped in Coconut. You will also find other Norwegian delights such as pretzel shaped pastries and cakes too. At this location you can also enjoy a Joffrey’s coffee and a Mickey cinnamon rolls too if you don’t fancy trying the Norwegian offerings.
An ideal breakfast spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat after enjoying Frozen Ever After.
8. Boardwalk Bakery
Great for: A Mickey Cinnamon Roll and Coffee before Epcot Opens
If you are staying at the Boardwalk Resort or maybe the Swan, Dolphin or Yacht and Beach Club resorts then this can be a good place to grab something to eat and drink at breakfast time before Epcot opens for the day.
You will find breakfast sandwiches, croissants, crumb cake as well as cinnamon rolls, banana bread and a Brioche Boston Cream Doughnut to try. There is also specialty coffees to enjoy to at the Boardwalk Bakery. Plenty to choose from before you head into Epcot for the day.
9. Starbucks at Connection Cafe’
Great for: The Starbucks fans in your family
Sometimes to get you started in the morning you just need a coffee and maybe a croissant or pastry to start your day. If this is sufficient for you before you hit some rides, then hit the Starbucks at Connections Cafe’ which is Epcot’s Starbucks location.
Breakfast sandwiches are also available:
- Sausage, cheddar and egg sandwich

- Double smoke bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich
If you are after something else there is a variety of pastries on offer as well as brownies and sugar cookies.
10. Joffrey’s

If Joffrey’s is your preferred coffee over Starbucks then there is no need to worry as there are various locations at Epcot. Why not grab a large coffee and a pink donut to start your day. You will find a Joffrey’s at the following locations to grab a coffee and breakfast snack at Epcot.

My Best Spots for the Best Breakfast at Epcot
Personally, I would have to pick Garden Grill and Trattoria Al Forno as my top 2 best breakfast locations at Epcot. Both restaurants serve delicious food that really fills you up for the day ahead.
The characters at both locations too (when available) make for great dining experiences too. The Family style food at Garden Grill is really good and I would also recommend the steak at Trattoria Al Forno.
You can’t go wrong if you pick either of these for breakfast when planning a day of fun at Epcot.
If you are looking for something quick I don’t think you can really go wrong with a quick coffee and pastry stop and this applies to all of the Disney World parks to be honest. A Mickey cinnamon roll and a coffee is enough to get fuelled up for a day of fun if we are in a rush to hit some of the rides early in the day.
