Our 10 Best Disney World Drinks

As always it has been difficult to put these choices into order, but we got there in the end. So lets take a look at our top 10 choices.

10. VegitaBeta

Location: The rooftop bar at the Coca Cola Store (Disney Springs)

The Rooftop Bar at the Coca Cola Store

I miss club cool at Epcot now it has gone. I miss it because I absolutely love this Japanese apricot and passion fruit flavored drink. Fortunately, I discovered that they serve it on the rooftop bar on top of the Coca Cola Store at Disney Springs. You can also find most of the other drinks that were offered at Club Cool here to. I always make a trip to the roof of the Coca Cola Store when at Disney Springs to get me a refreshing VegitaBeta.

9. Spaten Optimater

Location: Weinkeller (Germany Pavilion at Epcot World Showcase)

Spaten Optimator - The Best Disney World Drinks

This dark strong beer (7.6% ALC/VOL) can be found in the Weinkeller in the Germany Pavilion. Expect huge rich, sweet malts, a deep roastiness, and caramel coupled with dried fruits when you try one of these. Be warned though it is a strong beer. If you love a strong full bodied beer you will love this and it is definitely worth trying. This is my favorite beer across all of World Showcase.

8. A Strawberry Shake at Sci-Fi Dine In or 50’s Prime Time

Location: Both Located at Hollywood Studios

You can get a Strawberry Shake at Sci Fi Dine In

We love nice and thick shakes and the strawberry shakes at Sci-Fi Dine In and 50’s Prime Time at Hollywood Studios are both delicious. If you are dining at either of these restaurants then do try the strawberry shakes especially if you enjoy a shake. They are thick, ice cold and delicious and like all good shakes you can even have one for a dessert if you feel like it. You are on a Disney World vacation, so go for it!

You can find our favorite Hollywood Studios Restaurants here.

7. Wonderland Slushy

Location: Cheshire Café (Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom)

Wonderland Slush - The Best Disney World Drinks

Our daughter loves a slushy drink so she had to try this on our recent Disney World trip and she loved it. The wonderland slushy is made up of frozen Minute Maid raspberry lemonade and frozen Fanta Grape and to top it off it’s served with a hard strawberry candy straw. There are lots of slush drink options across the Disney parks but this is the one to try on your Disney World vacation. A really fun drink for anyone in your family who enjoys a sweet slushy treat.

6.  Bad Motivator IPA

Location: Oga’s Cantina (Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios)

Bad Motivator IPA - The Best Disney World Drinks

This Tropical India Pale Ale with Galaxy and Comet Hops (ABV 6.0%) is a really fresh and vibrant tasting IPA. So much so on our last trip I had two of them whilst we enjoyed our visit to Oga’s Cantina. If you enjoy trying different beers give this a try. Be warned though at ABV 6.0% it is stronger than your usual India Pale Ale. I could drink one right now!

You can read our full review of Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge here.

5. The Epcot Wine Walk

Location: Epcot World Showcase (France, Italy and Germany)

Epcot Wines - The Best Disney World Drinks

The wine walk takes place on World Showcase where you get to try different wines at France, Italy and Germany. You receive two acrylic reusable glasses and a wine walk passport which will be stamped at each location when you receive your wines. At each location you get to try two wines at each country (2 x two-ounce pours at each location) and this is a great way to try a variety of red and white wines while you tour World Showcase.

During the different festivals that take at place at World Showcase throughout the year you can also try different wine samplers too. If you enjoy a glass of wine you will find a lot of choice across World Showcase.

4. Blue Milk

Location: Milk Stand (Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios)

Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Blue Milk - The Best Disney World Drinks

Any true Star Wars fan wants to try blue milk just like Luke Skywalker and you can do so during your Disney World vacation by visiting the milk stand at Galaxy’s Edge. You can have an alcoholic or non alcoholic version of this drink but my best description of the taste would be to say that it tastes very similar to a Pina Colada. One that the adults and kids can both enjoy together.

The official description of the blue milk is a plant based blend of coconut and rice milk with the alcoholic version having Bacardi Rum added.

3. Rum Blossom

Location: Pongu Pongu (Pandora at Animal Kingdom)

A Rum Blossom from Animal Kingdom - The Best Disney World Drinks

This colorful alcoholic beverage is really tasty and looks great. Made up of Bacardi Superior Rum with layers of apple and desert pear limeade it makes for sweet and tasty drink with a bit of a kick from the rum. It also has passion fruit boba balls to pop too. A really nice drink to enjoy on a hot day at Animal Kingdom when you are enjoying the sights and sounds of Pandora.

2. Peach Bellini

Location: Trattoria al Forno (The Boardwalk)

Peach Bellini from Trattoria al Forno at Disney's Boardwalk

When dining at the Bon Voyage character breakfast we really enjoy the peach Bellini which is Ruffino Prosecco mixed with White Peach Puree and is nice refreshing sweet drink. Not something that you would normally have with breakfast but a lovely treat when on vacation. A naughty but very nice way to start a day Disney World.

1. Dole Whip Float – One of the Classic Disney World Drinks

Location: Aloha Isle in Adventureland (Magic Kingdom)

The classic dole whip is the best drink at Disney World.

Now this is definitely a Disney World classic but it is such a refreshing treat to enjoy on a very hot day at Magic Kingdom. The combination of the Dole pineapple soft serve along with the pineapple juice makes the Dole Whip float a must have snack during a Disney World vacation. For me the Dole Whip is the best Disney World drink. It is a must have drink when at Magic Kingdom and one I really look forward to treating myself to.
