1. Esmeralda (The Hunch Back of Notre Dame)
The beautiful Disney character is a gypsy who stole not only the hearts of Quasimodo, Captain Phoebus, and the villain Frollo makes her way to the top of our list of Disney characters beginning with E. In the film, this black-haired beauty speaks her mind and helps her people, the poor and forgotten.
Teaming up with the handsome Phoebus and inspiring Quasimodo to be brave, Esmeralda is one of a kind.
2. Ed (The Lion King)
The comic relief in a trio of laughable hyenas, Ed, is another notable Disney character starting with the letter E. He appears in The Lion King as a sidekick villain to the devious Scar. With his kooky facial expression and nonsensical blabberings which only his pals Shenzi and Banzai can understand, Ed can’t help but be lovable even if he is a bad guy.
3. Elastigirl (The Incredibles)
Helen Parr’s superhero alias Elastigirl is an undeniable addition to our list of Disney characters starting with E. In the action-packed film The Incredibles, Elastigirl can not only twist and contort herself into all kinds of shapes, but she’s also a mom of three and wife to Mr. Incredible! This woman can do anything including saving the day and putting dinner on the table. She certainly is an incredible Disney character.
4. Edna Mode (The Incredibles)
Of course whilst we are on the subject of the Incredibles we shouldn’t forget the iconic Disney character Edna Mode. Edna is another Disney Character that starts with E. The designer of custom made super hero outfits for all shapes and sizes who says ‘dahling’ a lot.
5. Edward (Enchanted)
In the land of Andalasia, Prince Edward wins the fair heart of the maiden Giselle (is she an official Disney princess?). He certainly captures even more hearts when he travels to the not so enchanted land of New York City in Disney’s Enchanted.
Not the only prince to grace our list of Disney characters beginning with E, Edward may be the only one to retain perfectly coiffed hair throughout his feature film (sorry, Eric!).
6. Eric (The Little Mermaid)
Speaking of Prince Eric, here he is to be the next in our lineup of Disney characters starting with the letter E. The featured hero in The Little Mermaid, Prince Eric leads an extravagant life on land – if only he had someone to share it with.
When this Disney character meets the mysterious Ariel, his life changes forever as he battles both speechlessness and giant sea witches to win her love. A classic Disney princess movie.

7. Emile (Ratatouille)
Who knew a rat could be lovable? Well, Emile mostly certainly is and he is our next Disney character that start with E. Emile is Remy’s generously larger older brother in the movie Ratatouille and provides plenty of comic relief as well as a character everyone can relate to – the one who loves food.
8. Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh)
The cuddly donkey with the pop-off tail who begrudgingly accompanies Winnie the Pooh on all of his adventures deserves a spot on the list of Disney characters beginning with E. Although he often only has depressing input, Eeyore is a most beloved Disney character of Christopher Robin’s imagination, and you can’t help feeling all warm and fuzzy when he does smile on the rare occasion.
9. Elsa (Frozen)
Who needs a Disney princess to make this list when you can have a queen? Elsa of Arendelle from the movie Frozen is one of the most popular Disney princess heroines with her cool ice powers and even more impressive power ballads. She proves to be an essential part of the Disney character list starting with E.
10. Elinor (Brave)
Yet another queen of note whose name starts with E is Elinor from Brave. This Disney character is Merida’s mother and, it turns out, her biggest cheerleader, Elinor is changed into a bear by a tricky witch. As mother and daughter learn to accept each other and build a relationship, the bond between them grows stronger.
11. Elizabeth Swan (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Of course, this governor’s daughter turned swashbuckling pirate deserves a spot on our list of Disney characters starting with E. Elizabeth Swan finds herself on a nonstop adventure when she is kidnapped by pirates who mistake her for someone else. In a comical dance of constant betrayals, Elizabeth finds out what she’s made of and who truly loves her.
12. Ernesto de la Cruz (Coco)
A beloved Mexican singer, Ernesto de la Cruz is Miguel’s role model in the movie Coco. This suave ladies’ man is another Disney character that begins with E who isn’t quite the good guy you’d want him to be. Instead of being Miguel’s musical great-grandfather, it turns out he’s the one responsible for killing Miguel’s ancestor and stealing his songs.
13. EVE (WALL-E)
Next up on our list of Disney characters starting with E is a brave little robot who finds romance in an unexpected place. Sent to Earth to find signs of life, EVE encounters WALL-E who shows her all of his beloved possessions including a plant which she takes back to her spaceship. Without intending to, she acquires a tag along and a sweet new friend to boot.
14. Evinrude (The Rescuers)
An energetic little dragonfly whose acts of service know no bounds, Evinrude is another addition to the Disney character names that begin with E. From the classic movie The Rescuers, Evinrude (named for the outboard motor company) helps Bernard and Bianca find the lost little girl Penny and is rewarded for his efforts with a swig of moonshine.
