Sometimes we all need a Starbucks coffee and a snack some mornings (or afternoons or evenings) to get us going and this can very much be the case during a Disney World vacation. We have looked at the Disney Dining Plan and Restaurants across Disney World in other posts and in this article, you find all your Walt Disney World Starbucks coffee shop needs covered in this guide.
Where is Starbucks at Disney World?
Starbucks can be found at all four Walt Disney World Parks as well as at Disney Springs too. There’s six Starbucks locations at Disney World. One in each theme park and two at Disney Springs. They are:
- Magic Kingdom — Main Street Bakery, on Main Street USA
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios — Trolley Car Cafe, Hollywood Boulevard
- Epcot — Epcot Connection Cafe, World Celebration
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom — Creature Comforts, Discovery Island area near the bridge to Africa
- Disney Springs Marketplace — Next to World of Disney
- Disney Spring West Side — Next to Characters in Flight
What do Starbucks at Disney World serve?
When it comes to drinks you will find your standard Starbucks offerings such as coffee, tea, and Frappuccino’s are all on the menu. They sometimes also often serve whatever seasonal drinks you would find at a normal Starbucks location, although this is not always guaranteed inside the parks.
Each location serves a selection of food offerings. In the Disney World Parks many of the food offerings are specialty options such as Disney-themed cupcakes. You will also find some more standard Starbucks food (for instance, breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the morning). Items do vary by location.

An Overview of Starbucks at Disney World
Magic Kingdom Starbucks – Main Street Bakery
Location: Main Street USA
You can find the Main Street Bakery menu here.
The Main Street Bakery is the Starbucks location in Magic Kingdom. You will find this on the right-hand side of Main Street as you face Cinderella Castle. There is outside seating on the hub outside Casey’s Corner and the Plaza Restaurant.
Hollywood Studios Starbucks – Trolley Car Cafe
Location: Hollywood Boulevard
You can find the Trolley Car Café menu here.
This Starbucks is located on Hollywood Boulevard on the right just before you turn to enter Sunset Boulevard. The Trolley Car Cafe at Hollywood Studios is themed as a classic trolley car station and is my favorite Starbucks location at Disney World as I really enjoy the theme. There is a small outside seating area to the rear of the building so enjoy your drink whilst you watch people go about their business in Hollywood Studios.
You can read our guide on eating at Hollywood Studios here.
Animal Kingdom Starbucks – Creature Comforts
Location: Discovery Island area near the bridge to Africa
You can find the Creature Comforts menu here.
Creature Comforts is located on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom. You will find it just before you cross the bridge into the Africa area of the park. And the building itself does have an African theme. There is some seating outside but not a great deal.
Epcot Starbucks – Epcot Connections Cafe
Location: World Celebration
You can find the Traveler’s Cafe Menu here.
The newest Starbucks location at Disney World is at Epcot Connections Cafe located in the World Celebration area of the park near the Mouse Gear store. You will find all the usual drinks that you would expect but the food selection is smaller than what what you would find in the other three Disney World Starbucks in the parks.
Disney Springs Starbucks Locations
Locations: Next to World of Disney and Next to Characters in Flight
As I mentioned above there are two locations at Disney Springs. One is at the Marketplace area and the other on the West Side of Disney Springs. The Marketplace location is more of a large kiosk with the West Side offering indoor seating and probably the most authentic Starbucks experience you find at Disney World. The West Side Location also offers special reserve coffees too.
Disney Starbucks Operating Hours
Starbucks located in the parks will operate to park hours and the two locations at Disney Springs will open around 8am and close at midnight. Both locations will usually be the first outlets to open at Disney Springs as employees will use both locations before the various stores open.
Alternatives to Starbucks at Disney World
There are alternatives to Starbucks at Disney World, but these are very limited. You have the various Joffrey Coffee locations which you can find here.
Joffrey coffee is also sold throughout Disney World at kiosks and you will also find speciality coffees in the various gift stores that you take home with you.
The Disney Dining Plan and Starbucks
Dining Plan snack credit can be used against most drinks in all Starbucks locations and for a lot of snacks to although not all of them. All the items are clearly labelled to identify that they are Dining Plan/Snack Credit eligible. There is some good value to be had against large drinks like Frappuccinos and some of the specialty Disney-themed snacks too.
You can find out more about the Disney Dining Plan here.
You can also find our Disney Dining Plan tips here too.
Can You Use Your Magic Band at Starbucks?
You can use your Magic Band to pay for drinks and snacks at Starbucks in all of the locations at Disney World. You can pay for items by having your credit card linked to your Magic Band and you can use Dining Plan snack credits with your Magic Band as you would at stores and food kiosks throughout the resort.
Mobile Ordering in Starbucks at Disney World
Although mobile ordering is growing across the Disney Quick Service dining locations across the Disney parks mobile ordering at Starbucks stores is only currently available at both Disney Springs West and Marketplace locations.
Can You Use Starbucks Gift cards at Disney World?
Starbucks gift cards can be used at all locations in the Starbucks stores across Walt Disney World resort.
Can You Use the Starbucks App and Rewards at Disney World
If you use the Starbucks App, then you can earn rewards at all Starbucks locations. You can only redeem reward points at both Disney Springs locations though.
Plastic Straws & Lids
All Starbucks locations offer waxed paper straws in line with recent Disney World policy to decrease the use of plastic across the resort. Although a lot of quick service kiosks no longer offer lids with beverages, Starbucks still provide lids which may have something to do with the amount of hot drinks on offer.
What about if I just want some Iced Water?
Most locations will offer self-serve iced water by the napkins locations where people wait for their drinks. You can also wait in line and ask for some if you cannot find any.
Disney World Starbucks Collectible Mugs
There are Starbucks collectible mugs for each park along with Florida and Orlando themed mugs that you will find at the two Disney Springs locations.
Our Favorite Disney World Starbucks Drinks and Snacks
Here are some of our favorite drinks and snacks that we order all the time during our own Disney World vacations. We also try to get the largest drink possible when using the dining plan so that we get the best value available to us.
Venti Caramel Frappuccino
This is one of my own personal favorites. A Frappuccino is a great way to cool down of an afternoon and the caramel flavor gives this beverage a nice sweet flavor.
Venti Coffee Frappuccino
If it is earlier in the day but the temperatures are already quite hot, I will pick a Coffee Frappuccino over a regular hot coffee. I get my caffeine hit without having to work my way through a hot drink in the Florida sun.
Venti Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino
This is one of my daughter’s favorite drinks to enjoy when exploring Disney World. Chocolate and cream in this ice-cold delight for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Mickey Cinnamon Roll
A great snack to share this Mickey shaped Cinnamon Roll is big. You will usually find this at Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom, but it will sometimes appear as a seasonal offering in other locations usually decorated for the relevant festival. This one is great use of a Dining Plan snack credit and a great option for a quick breakfast snack before a day at Animal Kingdom.
Butter Croissant
You may not think that there isn’t really anything special about a plain croissant and that is why I have picked this. Our son who can sometimes be a fussy eater and likes to keep things plain loves these.
So, if you have a child who may have similar tastes this is good pick for first thing in the morning when choosing something from Starbucks at Disney.
