6 Places to Find Princess Tiana in Disney World?
There are a few different locations where Tiana is in Disney World. You can meet and see her at the following locations across Walt Disney World.
1. Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom
Location in Park: Magic Kingdom (Fantasyland – behind Cinderella Castle)
Tiana can often be found inside the Princess Fairytale Hall along with Cinderella for a character meet and photo opportunity. You will find the Fairytale Hall right behind the castle to you right hand side as you enter Fantasyland.
Do be aware though that Cinderella is the permanent character who you can meet here with other Disney Princesses appearing as guest visitors. There will be signs outside of the Fairytale Hall telling you who is visiting Cinderella on the day.
Location: Magic Kingdom (Liberty Square)
Tiana and Naveen will also sometimes meet guests in Liberty Square adjacent to the bridge and next to the Christmas Shop. It is worth checking on the day with a cast member to see if they will be appearing for photos and autographs.
3. Festival of Fantasy Parade
Location: Magic Kingdom (Parade Route)
During the afternoon at Magic Kingdom Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from the Princess and the Frog feature in the Princess Garden float that leads the Festival of Fantasy Parade as it makes its way through Magic Kingdom in the afternoon.
The Parade starts from Frontierland next to Splash Mountain making its way to Liberty Square, onto the hub and then through Main Street USA where it concludes by passing through the gates beside the Town Square Firehouse.
The Princess Garden Float Features:
- Cinderella and Prince Charming
- Belle and the Beast
- Anna and Elsa
5. Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
Location: Magic Kingdom (The Castle Stage)
This show takes place on the castle stage throughout the day at Magic Kingdom and features Princess Tiana. Mickey and friends entertain the crowds where various characters from different Disney stories all come together to celebrate friendship. During the show a variety of characters feature such as Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Flynn Rider and Rapunzel.
6. Fantasmic
Location: Hollywood Studios
Tiana is part of the large cast of characters that appear in Disney World’s Fantasmic Show at Hollywood Studios. This is a great evening show where you take a trip through the dreams of Mickey Mouse.
Mickey starts out as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice only for a variety of Disney Villains to invade his dreams and turn them into nightmares. Mickey must win the battle with the power of his imagination.
With over 50 performers, projections, water and fireworks the Fantasmic is a must see show and it is like no other show you will see at Disney World.
Can I See Other Characters from The Princess and the Frog at Disney World?
Prince Naveen appears with Princess Tiana in the Festival of Fantasy Parade as mentioned earlier. He also appears in Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire and Fantasmic too.
Louis the trumpet playing alligator also appears with Tiana and Naveen during Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire and can be seen as part of the many characters that make up the Fantasmic show. Louis is a great looking character and is always fun to see in person.
Is There a Princess and the Frog Ride at Disney World?
There isn’t a Princess and the Frog ride at Disney yet. I say yet as Splash Mountain is at some point due to be reimagined into a Princess and the Frog themed ride. This was announced by Disney in June 2020 but as yet no further timeline for this reimagining has been confirmed.
Disney have shared the following about the ride though:
“We pick up this story after the final kiss and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”
At the time of writing Splash Mountain is still very much open with its original Brer Rabbit theme.
A Disney Resort to Consider for Tiana Fans
Princess and the Frog fans might want to consider staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter resorts. Both resorts are based on a New Orleans, Louisiana, and Bayou style theme.
Port Orleans Riverside Resort offers Royal Guest Rooms too. These rooms are themed around Disney Princesses and The Princess and the Frog movie and have headboards that lights up with fireworks. Ideal for Tiana fans who are staying at Disney World for a birthday or special occasion.
