Where to Meet Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora at Disney World

5 Place Where You Can Find and Meet Aurora at Disney World

There are a few different locations where you will find Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora at WDW. You can meet and see her at the following locations.

1. Cinderella’s Royal Table

Location: Magic Kingdom

This hugely popular dining experience is held at Cinderella’s Royal Table restaurant which is located inside the castle at Magic Kingdom. When character dining is being held a host of princesses appear. Princess Aurora herself meets guests along with Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel.

This is not an easy restaurant to get a reservation for but it does give you the opportunity to meet Aurora at Disney World along with the other Disney Princesses who appear.

2. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Location: Norway Pavilion (Epcot World Showcase)

Akershus Royal banquet Hall is a little easier to get a reservation for compared to Cinderella’s Royal Table and the good news is Aurora can also be found here too. Princess Aurora appears alongside: Belle, Cinderella, and Ariel in this great Princess storybook dining experience at Epcot.

4. Fantasmic

Location: Hollywood Studios

Aurora is part of the large cast of characters that appear in Disney World’s Fantasmic Show at Hollywood Studios. This is a great evening show where you take a trip through the dreams of Mickey Mouse.

Mickey starts out as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice only for a variety of Disney Villains to invade his dreams and turn them into nightmares. Mickey must win the battle with the power of his imagination.

With over 50 performers, projections, water and fireworks the Fantasmic is a must see show and it is like no other show you will see at Disney World.

5. Disney’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party

Location: Grand Floridian Resort

This Princess Tea Party is hosted by Princess Aurora at the Grand Floridian and is aimed at children aged 3 to 9 although over 10’s is still also welcome. Tea, sandwiches, cakes and fruit can all be enjoyed by guests.

Can I See Other Characters from Sleeping Beauty at Disney World?

Yes, you can find characters from Sleeping Beauty during the Magic Kingdom Parade at Disney World.

Festival of Fantasy Parade

Location: Magic Kingdom

A host of Sleeping Beauty characters can be seen during the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom. The Parade starts from Frontierland next to Splash Mountain making its way to Liberty Square, onto the hub and then through Main Street USA where it concludes by passing through the gates beside the Town Square Firehouse.

The sleeping beauty float is a steampunk inspired Maleficent in dragon form and includes:

• Prince Phillip battles the dragon
• Flora, Fauna and Merryweather float through the parade route too
• Stilt performers and raven dancers also appear with the dragon

Maleficent also plays a big part in the Villains sections of the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios.

Is There a Sleeping Beauty Ride at Disney World?

Sadly, there is not a Sleeping Beauty ride currently at Disney World. As fun as it could be there aren’t any current plans for a Princess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty theme ride or attraction at Disney World.

However, at Disneyland in California there is a Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough attraction. The Castles at both Disneyland in California and Disneyland Paris are both representations of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
