1. Because You Love Disney

Everybody loves Disney don’t they? We have all grown up with Mickey Mouse and Disney movies no matter what age we are. Believe me when you are at Disney World it doesn’t matter how old are young you maybe as you will be pulled into the Disney Magic during your vacation. You will get excited to meet Disney characters, ride Disney Rides and that is just the start of the magical experiences that can take place at Disney World.

2. You Will Love the Disney World Bubble

The Disney Bubble is a lovely place to get trapped in for your vacation. We certainly do, from the moment we get picked up from the Airport by the Magical Express we are being looked after by Disney. No driving, no cooking and no stress as we enjoy all that Disney World has to offer.

Days spent enjoying the Disney World Parks, Restaurants and Resorts without a care in the world. It is a very nice experience.

3. Everything All In One Place

At Disney World you have pretty much everything you need for a great vacation all within Disney property. Four Theme Parks, Two Water Parks and shopping and dining too at Disney Springs. There is musical entertainment in the evening at most resorts as well as the spectacular fireworks displays that you can enjoy at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. During the day you can kick back by the pool or enjoy the Disney World Parks. There is so much to do all in one place at Disney World. If you do book a Disney World Vacation you will have plenty to look forward to and plan for.

Be warned though you will probably have to skip a few things.

4. The Disney World Parks

The Disney World Parks themselves are all fantastic parks offering different experiences. The iconic Magic Kingdom with Cinderella’s Castle offers the classic Disney experience. Epcot offer a glimpse of the future and a trip around the world, Hollywood Studios offers thrill rides, movies and of course Star Wars and Animal Kingdom offering an experience based on conservation but with some fantastic ride experiences too.

5. The Florida Sunshine

Whatever time of year you decide to visit Disney World you will definitely experience the glorious Floridian Sun. We were there last year in February and for 17 days it didn’t rain once and the temperatures remained around 30 degrees Celsius for the whole of our vacation.

For a brief guide to the weather in Florida please see below:

January: hot (maybe cold at night)*

February: hot (maybe cold at night)*

March: hot (maybe cold at night)*

April: hot

May: really hot

June: like you are on the sun

July: like you are wrapped in tin foil on the sun

August: like you are covered in baby oil wrapped in tin foil on the sun

September: really hot

October: hot*

November: hot (maybe cold at night)*

December: hot (maybe cold at night)*

*During these months, Mother Nature may decide that it is winter for 3-7 days at any time.

6. The Disney Resorts

All of the Disney World Resorts from value up to deluxe have really nice themes, pools, entertainment, dining options and of course helpful cast members. Staying on a Disney Resort and on Disney World Property immerses you in the Disney bubble that we mentioned above.

The Grand Floridian

There is such a wide choice of resorts to choose from that it is definitely doing some research before you make a decision. There are some great benefits from staying at a Disney World Resort too which you can read about here or by clicking the image below.

7. The Disney Dining Plan

We love the Disney Dining Plan and especially as we usually get included free as part of our Disney World Vacation package. Having the Dining Plan allows us to have the cost of meals covered upfront and you also have 2 snacks included per person for each night of your stay.

Guests can start making reservations 60 days before your check in date too to reserve those table service restaurants you really want to experience.

Also you can also read our article covering the Dining Plan in detail here or read our Dining Plan Tips here too (or clicking the image below).

8. The Free Disney World Transportation

Point 2 touched upon this and it is worth mentioning again but Disney’s Magical Express will pick you up from Orlando International Airport and return you to the airport when you have to go home (boo). In between arriving and going home Disney Transportation will take you wherever you want to go. Resort buses will take you to the Disney Parks and Disney Springs. Monorails, boats and the Sky liner are also options to get you between parks. No car needed.

9. The Disney World Cast Members

The Disney World Cast Members can make your vacation that little bit more special too. From just being super friendly or being exceptionally helpful when you need their assistance is great but it is sometimes the little extra special things they do that you will remember. We have had cast members give us fast passes because it was our daughter’s birthday, a cook sing to my son when he dropped his food and got upset and even cast members thanking us for choosing Disney World for our vacation.

We honestly haven’t had this kind of attention and service on any other family vacation.

10. The Memories You Will Make

At Disney World you will make so many special memories. There are the obvious ones like the photos in front of Cinderella’s Castle and meeting Mickey Mouse. But there are lots of others too that you will make during your vacation. Wonderful character experiences that you will never forget, having a fantastic day in a park, discovering your favorite rides for the first time and certain things that your family members will do when they get caught up in the Disney Magic.

11. Meeting the Disney Characters

Meeting the various Disney Characters can be so memorable and so much fun too. It is great to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy but there is such a wide variety of characters to meet throughout Disney World that you might just find characters you weren’t expecting to meet to be the really memorable ones. My particular favorites in the past that have been a lot of fun have been Handy Manny, Baloo and King Louie and Chewbacca.

A Disney World Vacation is a Vacation like no other. It has an extra bit of magic to it that only Disney can produce. Theme Parks, Water Parks, Dining, Beautiful Resorts and so much more make for a very magical family vacation. If you haven’t been to Disney World yet and think you might enjoy then all I can say is – yes you will have a wonderful time.
