5. Can You Take Alcohol Beverages into Disney World?

You really shouldn’t be thinking of taking alcohol into the Disney parks. It’s against the rules and at three of the four main parks it is easy to find an alcoholic drink.

At Epcot alcoholic beverages and drinks such as beer and wine are widely available around World Showcase. At Hollywood Studio’s you can easily get a beer, cider or even a cocktail and at Animal Kingdom it’s easy to get a Beer too.

6. Will Security Check My Bag?

Bags must only be checkedby Security if you activate the scanners/metal detectors as you enter any of the theme Parks.

So in effect if you were to try and break the above rules you might get found out by the security staff at the bag checking areas before any park entrance.

Don’t worry though I have never had an issue taking food or drink into the parks or any issue with security stopping me from doing so.

The security staff do a great job checking bags and it is also common practice now to have to go through a metal detector before you enter a park. I have no issue with any of these checks and before I enter a Disney World Park, I know that the safety of all visitors it being taken very seriously. Great Job Disney!

7. Snacks to Consider Taking into Disney World

If you are on the dining plan and don’t want to use your snack credits on drinks or little snacks then I would consider taking a bottle of water or juice boxes for any children into the parks and maybe a few cereal bars. If needed they are there in your bag and the heat shouldn’t affect them too much. Don’t take chocolate bars as shock horror chocolate melts!

8. Coffee Breaks at Disney World

Also if like me you need a few coffee’s in the morning to get going you will need to know where to get your caffeine hit. With Starbucks located in all the Parks and at Disney Springs as well as Joffrey’s too there are plenty of places to grab a coffee. You can find out about Disney Starbucks locations here. I normally get the largest coffee I can get or maybe a large (or Venti!) Frappuccino on a hot day.
